Industrial Foam & Deluge Systems

High-performance foam suppression engineered for fuel storage, port terminals, refineries, aircraft hangars, and large-scale industrial hazards — where water alone is not sufficient.

Technology Partner

Viking Corporation — Foam Systems

Viking Corporation is one of the world's leading manufacturers of fire protection systems. Their foam system components carry FM Approval (to FM 5130) and UL Listing (to UL 162), providing the highest level of assurance for critical hazard environments.

Deluge Foam-Water System — Bladder Tank Configuration

The Viking Deluge Foam-Water System delivers a precisely proportioned foam-water solution through open sprinklers, spray nozzles, and monitor nozzles to the protected hazard area. The bladder tank configuration uses a hydraulically actuated Viking Halar®-coated concentrate control deluge valve, ensuring accurate foam proportioning without the need for a separate pump. The system activates automatically via fire detection devices — IR3 flame detectors, heat detectors, or rate-of-rise — and discharges the foam solution immediately throughout the hazard area.

Viking Corporation — SFFF

Fluorine-Free Foam Systems (SFFF)

Viking's Synthetic Fluorine-Free Foam (SFFF) systems provide high fire performance without the environmental concerns associated with AFFF concentrates containing PFOS/PFOA. SFFF is biodegradable, contains no intentionally added fluorinated surfactants, and has zero ozone depletion potential. Viking's SFFF systems are tested and approved for use with FM Approved and UL Listed Viking sprinkler heads, ensuring the complete system — foam concentrate, proportioning device, and discharge device — meets recognized performance standards. Suitable for Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires and Class A hazards.

Foam Monitors & Proportioning Equipment

Fixed and oscillating foam monitors (water cannons) for unconfined spill fire protection, loading rack protection, and open-air hazard areas at ports and refineries. Hydraulically actuated monitor nozzles deliver high-flow foam solution across large coverage areas without requiring personnel in the hazard zone. Paired with inline proportioners, around-the-pump proportioners, or bladder tank systems depending on flow requirements and available water pressure.

Applications

Where We Apply Foam Systems

NFPA 11 and EN 13565-2 govern foam system design. Requirements for foam systems are also found in NFPA 13, 16, 30, 409, and 418 depending on the application.

🛢️

Fuel Storage Tanks

Fixed and semi-fixed foam systems for floating roof and cone roof tanks. Foam chambers, rim seal protection, and sub-surface injection to NFPA 11.

Port & Marine Terminals
