Water Sprinkler & Suppression Systems

Wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems with software-based hydraulic calculations — engineered for warehouses, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and special hazards.

Technology Partner

Viking Corporation — Sprinkler & Deluge

Viking Corporation's sprinkler range covers over 463 products across commercial, storage, residential, extended coverage, and special application categories — all FM Approved and UL Listed.

Wet Pipe Systems

Standard Wet Pipe Sprinkler

The most common and reliable system type — water is constantly maintained in the piping, providing the fastest possible response when a sprinkler head activates. Suitable for heated buildings without freezing risk. Viking offers a full range of pendent, upright, concealed, and sidewall sprinkler heads for standard and extended coverage applications, with K-factors from 2.8 to 25.2.

  • Fastest Response
  • NFPA 13 Compliant
  • K-Factor 2.8–25.2
  • Pendent · Upright · Sidewall
Dry Pipe Systems

Dry Pipe Sprinkler System

Pressurized air or nitrogen fills the piping instead of water — essential for unheated spaces, cold storage, and car park structures subject to freezing. When a sprinkler opens, air escapes, the dry valve trips, and water flows. Viking dry valves are available in sizes 2" to 8" and are certified for FM Approval.

  • Freezing Environments
  • Air / Nitrogen Pressurized
  • Viking Dry Valve
  • NFPA 13 / FM DS 2-0
Pre-Action Systems

Pre-Action Sprinkler System

Pre-action systems require two independent triggers — a detection signal AND a sprinkler head opening — before water releases. Single-interlock or double-interlock configurations. The preferred choice for data centers, archives, and areas where accidental water discharge would cause serious damage. Viking Viking pre-action valves integrate with fire alarm panels for coordinated response.

  • Accidental Discharge Protection
  • NFPA 13 / NFPA 75
Deluge Systems

Deluge Sprinkler System

All sprinkler heads are open — water is delivered simultaneously across the entire protected area when the deluge valve activates. Used where rapid total coverage is essential: aircraft hangars, transformer bunds, chemical process areas, and high-hazard manufacturing. The Viking deluge valve is the heart of the system, available with pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric release.

  • Simultaneous Discharge
  • Open Head Nozzles
  • Pneumatic / Electric Release
  • NFPA 13 / 15 / 16
Water Spray Systems

Water Spray — NFPA 15

Directed water spray for transformer protection, cable tray protection, LPG vessel exposure protection, and structural steel cooling. Spray nozzles are designed to produce a specific discharge pattern and density over the protected surface. Viking offers directional spray nozzles and open spray heads in a range of orifice sizes and deflector patterns.

  • LPG Vessel Cooling
  • Structural Steel
  • NFPA 15 Compliant
Storage Protection

High-Challenge Storage

In-rack and ceiling-level sprinkler protection for high-pile storage, racked storage, and high-hazard commodity classes. Viking storage sprinklers are designed to deliver the high flow rates and discharge densities required by NFPA 13 Chapter 20 and FM Global DS 8-9 for challenging storage configurations.

  • In-Rack Sprinklers
  • ESFR (Early Suppression Fast Response)
  • High K-Factor Heads

Our Engineering Approach

Hydraulic Calculations & Design

Every sprinkler system we design is supported by full hydraulic calculations — not estimates — verifying that the required water density reaches every sprinkler in the most demanding design area.

🧮

Hydraulic Calculations

Software-based hydraulic analysis verifying flow, pressure, and density requirements at the most demanding design area — submitted with every proposal.

💧

Water Supply Analysis

Flow test data analysis and pump curve matching to confirm the available water supply meets the system demand with the required residual pressure.

🔥

Hazard Classification

Hazard assessment to NFPA 13 and FM Global data sheets — Light, Ordinary, Extra Hazard — determining the required discharge density and design area.

📐

Layout & Coordination

Sprinkler head layout coordinated with architectural and structural drawings to maintain required spacing, obstructions, and ceiling configurations.

🔧

Pipe Sizing

Piping network sized to minimize friction losses while meeting velocity limits — feed mains, branch lines, and drops specified to NFPA and FM requirements.
